Bandarban Travel Plan (1 Night 2 Days)

Our aim is to give an idea about Bandarban travel plans. You can arrange everything according to your wish. One should stay at least one night to explore the popular places near Bandarban.

By doing this, all the beautiful places can be visited well. And if you plan for 1 night and 2 days, as you can see all the places, the cost will be relatively less.

Places to visit – 

1st Day: Golden Temple, Meghla Tourist Center, and Nilachal 

2nd Day: Milanchari, Shailprapat, Chimbuk, and Nilgiris Bandarban will get 3 types of vehicles to travel around. CNG which is suitable for 2-4 pax, Mahendra Jeep (Landcruiser) which is suitable for 5-8 pax and Chander Car is suitable for 8-15 pax. You have to arrange the car according to how many of you are together to visit the travel places.

First day

Try to reach Bandarban early in the morning. Reach Bandarban in the morning and have a fresh breakfast. If you have not booked a hotel in advance, choose a hotel and have a fresh breakfast.

Your first destination is the Golden Temple followed by lunch and a short rest at Meghla and Nilachal in the afternoon. You can reserve together to visit the places on the first day or if you want, you can see the golden temple first and then take lunch separately to see Meghla and Nilachal. To fix Mahendra Jeep or Chander car, you can go to the Jeep stand and pick up the car in line. CNG reserved 800-1000 taka, Mahendra jeep 1200-1600 taka, and Chander car 1800-2200 taka to visit all the places.

But you have to bargain and the rent may be lower or higher depending on the season. Swarnmandir, Bandarban So take the car and go to Svarmandir first. To enter the Golden Temple, a ticket of 50 takas per person has to be charged. As this is a religious place, do not do anything that offends religious values.

Return to the city after visiting the Golden Temple. Have lunch from any restaurant in town. Or if you want, you can directly go to Meghla and have food at the hotel there. But if you want to eat at a low cost, it will be better to eat from the hotel in the city.

If you have time, you can take a rest after lunch. But the more time you keep for Nilachal, the better. Because the blue sky in the afternoon is very beautiful. So try to go there earlier.

Tickets must be purchased to enter Nilachal. Spend the afternoon to evening there. Nilachal, Bandarban From Nilachal this time back to the hotel in Bandarban city. Freshen up and rest you can go out for dinner and night city sightseeing in Bandarban.

The night porter will appear to you in a different form. After dinner, if you want, you can go to the bridge and see the form of Sangu. Come back to the hotel and try to sleep early.

If you want to visit the Nilgiris the next day, it is best to leave as early as possible. The earlier you go in the morning, the more likely you are to see clouds in the mountains.

Second day

Get up early in the morning and have breakfast (before 6 am if possible). Then fix the vehicle at your convenience. But in this case, if you don't want to waste time in the morning, you can fix the car the day before.

Then you can get ready in the morning and leave. Shailprapat Jharna, Milanchari View Point, and Chimbuk Tourist Center are on the way to Nilgiris. All these places can be visited together in one day. CNG for the whole day will charge Tk 2000-2200, Mahendra Jeep Tk 2,400-3,000, and Chander Car Tk 3,500-4,200. 

You have to negotiate the rent and talk about where you will stop. Remember that Chander's car or jeep rental will depend on your bargain so bargain well.

On the way back from Nilgiris you will visit Chimbuk, Milchari, and Shailprapat Jharna. Tickets are required to enter Nilgiris and Chimbuk. And you can have lunch in the Nilgiris or you can eat at the tribal hotel in front of the Chimbuk tourist center. 

But in these cases, if you order in advance, you will get the food ready. 

Or may have to wait for food. And take some dry food and water with you. The distance from Bandarban to Niligiri is about 50 km. 

It will take about 5 hours just to and fro. It will take 7-8 hours in total to see the unique places on the way and visit the Nilgiris to and fro. 

So watch out for time. 

Return to Bandarban after visiting the Nilgiris. At the end of the day leave for your destination by night bus. Eat dinner before boarding the bus or you can eat it on the highway.

If you want to go by train, take a bus from Bandarban to Chittagong if you have booked the ticket first. You can return to Dhaka by train from Chittagong.

Ways to go to Bandarban

From different parts of Dhaka. Alam, Unique, Hanif, Shyamli, Saudia, Saint Martin, etc. buses leave for Bandarban. The fare of these buses per person is non-AC 550-650 taka and AC 950-1500 taka respectively.

From Dhaka, you can go to Chittagong by train and from there you can go to Bandarban. Sonar Bangla, Subarna, Mahanagar, etc. trains go to Chittagong from Dhaka every day. The price of the train ticket is Tk 320-1500 depending on the class. 

You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong's Baddarhat bus station. Two Badass named Pubali and Purbani set out for Bandarban. These two buses cost Tk 220 per person. Besides, you can go to Bandarban from the Dhampara bus stop. 

If you want, you can go to Bandarban from Chittagong by renting a car, microbus fare is Tk 2,500-3,500.

Where will you stay 

There are several hotels and resorts in and around Bandarban city. Among the hotels and resorts to stay in Bandarban is Hotel Hill View: Next to Bandarban City Bus Stand. Rent 1000 to 2500 Tk.

Hotel Hilton: Near the bus stand of Bandarban city. Rent 1200 to 3500 Tk. 

Hotel Plaza: 5 minutes walk from the bus stand. Rent 800 to 3000 Tk.

River View: The location of the hotel is along the banks of the Sangu River in the city. Rent 600 to 2000 taka.

Tourist Motels: Located next to mountains and lakes. Located in Meghalaya, 4 km from the city. Rent 1200 to 2500 Tk. Besides, there are several other beautiful resorts in Bandarban including Sairu Resort.
